Wheels and wheel sets of freight and passenger trains are exposed to high dynamic loads.

A rotating bending load of the wheel set axle arises during operation through the weight that affects the wheel bearing.

All other connected components in the wheel are also highly stressed by this load.

These and further fatigue stresses and strains can pre-eminently
be simulated on a test bench with the RMS Fatigue Test System IP60.
